Leslie Rutledge is just one of many "Conservative Christians" who continue to FIGHT against the RIGHTS of the LGBTQ Community. It never ceases to amaze me how these "Conservative Christians" will stand up and say how "MILITANT" the LGBTQ Community acts, when they are the one SPEWING so much HATE every chance they get. Here is a video of Leslie Rutledge at the RNC, proving just how "MILITANT" some "Conservative Christians" come across as they speak. Claiming to be a "Christian" means nothing when you SPEW HATE towards others.

As long as these REPUBLICAN "Conservative Christians" remain in any POLITICAL POSITION, we in the LGBTQ Community will have to continue to FIGHT for our RIGHTS for EQUALITY!!!

Hear just how "Christian" she sounds below:

On Thursday, Leslie Rutledge, once again proved how little "Christian" love she has, as she continues to fight a group of peole she deems undesirable because of her "Christianity". As a GAY CHRISTIAN MAN I really get TIRED of hearing the HATE towards who I am in Christ Jesus. I also get tired of these so called "Conservative Christians" working tirelessly to keep the LGBTQ Community OPPRESSED because they think they KNOW the HEART of GOD.

Here is the article posted on Arkansas Business:

LITTLE ROCK - Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge is asking the state's highest court to hold oral arguments in the lawsuit challenging a city ordinance that bars discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender orientation.

Rutledge's office on Thursday asked for the arguments in the case she and opponents of Fayetteville's anti-discrimination ordinance have before the high court. A Washington County circuit judge earlier this year upheld the ordinance and said it didn't violate a state law aimed at preventing local protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

In a separate brief, Rutledge asked the court to strike the ordinance and uphold the state law preventing cities and counties from barring discrimination on a basis not contained in state law. Arkansas civil rights law doesn't include sexual orientation or gender identity.

Article notes Attorney General Leslie Rutledge's legal pressure to strike down a Fayetteville ordinance that prohibits discrimination, including on sexual orientation and gender.

To be clear: Rutledge wants Arkansas state law to prevail — it allows legal discrimination against gay people by those who claim a religious exemption and prohibits local ordinances that promote equal rights. The case is to be argued before the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Also just to be clear: It was the passage of just such laws in North Carolina that prompted the NCAA to cancel games in North Carolina, that prompted decisions by some companies to scrap economic development there and that led the NBA to bypass North Carolina for an all-star game.

Maybe nobody cares enough about Arkansas for our discriminatory law to have much impact (except to throw out a welcome map to bigots).  This perhaps ties into that thing Kathy Deck said about how the cost of living being higher in places people want to live.
