Today, the majority of people living with HIV in the United States are over 50 years old. And many have been living with the virus for more than 25 years. Long-term survivors face age-related challenges like everyone else, but add HIV-related stigma to the mix and there’s a greater likelihood for individuals to become isolated and depressed. POZ recently asked you about your life as a long-term survivor. Here are your responses.
