🏳️‍🌈✝️🔻 The HORROR that LGBTQTI+ FACE from the "CHURCH"

Unless the "Church" is accepting you just the way God created you, it is best to STAY AWAY.
There are many "Churches" today that are waking up to the TRUTH -
YOU CANNOT JUST PRAY THE GAY AWAY!!!

When I see stories like this it makes my blood boil. It is time the "Church" quit using the Bible against people and start using the Bible to SAVE PEOPLE!!! The BIBLE is the good news that needs to be taught NOT hammered. The Bible's you have in your homes right now have been mistranslated so many times throughout history that they hardly contain much of the ORIGINAL TRUTH that God revealed to those who followed Him.

It makes me SICK that these two had to experience the HORROR of CHURCH FALSE TEACHINGS because the PASTOR is NOT TEACHING THE TRUTH of GODS WORD!!!

When you read the statement from the Church at the end of the article I want you to know that it is a complete and utter LIE. I grew up in the Assembly of God Church and I personally experienced the horrors of the church trying to cast out those horrible "DEMONS" of HOMOSEXUALITY!!!

You can read part of my personal story here:Love and Understanding

BLACKWELL, Oklahoma - A same-sex couple said they were attacked at a Blackwell church and one was held down, while church goers tried to, quote, “pray the gay away.”

Gary Gardner of Blackwell said he and his boyfriend, Sean Cormie, were invited to The First Assembly of God Church by Cormie’s family. Gardner said everything started okay. Then, the pastor asked them to approach the alter.

“A lot of Sean’s family came over and started praying on us, and church members started praying on us and started getting louder and louder and louder,” said Gardner.

Gardner said he started to leave, then was pushed out by other church members while Cormie was held inside and slammed to the ground by his stepfather, who also attends church there.

“Sort of picked him up and body slammed him over and started praying on him, and when they were doing that, Sean ended up with marks on his arms a black eye and sort of blacked out,” said Gardner.

Cormie added, “They started holding me down praying in tongues, which I just started crying.”

Cormie was left bruised. He said the group about 12 to 15 people, eventually let him up.

“My sister convinced them to let me go,” said Cormie. “She held my face and said, ‘God is in you speak, speak, speak Sean. This is not their judgment this is God’s judgment. They don’t have the power of God in their minds.’”

The church released a statement saying, “This began as a family matter that escalated. Our church would never condone restraint of any person unless they were engaged in violent activity. There is much more to this incident, and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement to hopefully bring all of the facts to light as a rush to judgment is not in anyone's best interest.”

“We want the church shut down,” said Gardner. “If they’re going to treat people like that, they don’t need to be open.”

Please join with me in praying for these two men and the many men and women around the world who are being TORTURED because of who they love.

Heavenly Father we ask that you send Angels to protect Your Rainbow Children from the HATE of the modern "Church" who is using Your against people instead of using it to share the GOOD NEWS. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

🏳️‍🌈✝️🔻 My 10 year anniversary living with HIV

05/27/2019

_________________________________________________________________________________

May 28, 2019 at 10:15am is officially my Anniversary finding out I am HIV POSITIVE. I know exactly when I was infected with HIV and by whom. You can read about the beginning of my journey  living with HIV here, Love and Understanding.  I have only MYSELF to blame for being infected because I made the choice to NOT use protective measures. Please protect yourself from HIV and other STI’s because no one else will.

Another year has passed and I am still here!!! I cannot say this last year has been a bed of roses. I know Jesus said we would have trouble in this life on earth and that we can handle whatever comes our way through Him; but this last year really put me to the test. I have always and will always put all my trust in Jesus Christ to help me along this journey living with HIV. Sometimes I pray that He would make these doctors better understand that they should LISTEN more closely to their patient when things are not going so good.

The last half of 2018 until April 2019 I suffered from my legs swelling up like elephant legs. My blood pressure was all over the place. I ended up in the ER once because I passed out from my blood pressure dropping down into the 50’s and my heart rate into the 30’s. I was pumped full of fluids which brought my blood pressure back up and I lived. I talked with my Heart Doctor who told me there was nothing he could do for me so I fired him. I found a new doctor in April of this year that took me off all the medication the other Heart Doctor had me on and poof my legs went down and I quit passing out. I was told I was over medicated and would have died if I kept taking all those meds. The left leg hurts me all the time and still swells so testing on my legs revealed I have venous insufficiency so I am going to have surgery to kill that vein in my left leg which will cause the leg to quit swelling. Not sure when that will take place because I have since had to find another new Cardiologist because this one I was seeing got mad because I questioned her then gave her proof of what I was saying so she told me she did not have time for my DRAMA and would not keep treating me. Oh and on top of that she said I had too many health issues to deal with.

Praise the Lord I have found a Primary Care Physician who listens and has already gotten me scheduled to get some test done that no other doctor  has been able to do in the last two years. God is really good to me. She also told me the Cardiologist I will be seeing soon is really good and she really cares about her patients.

I really believe this is going to be a much better for me where doctors are concerned.  I am praying that these new doctors get to the bottom of the current health issues so I can start feeling better again.

As far as the HIV is concerned I am still undetectable and my CD4 count is still above 2000. I have been very blessed these past 10 years to be undetectable and have such a high CD4 count. The only issue I have had with HIV is the medications that have caused me to gain so much weight. I have gained 100 pounds in the past two years and I am quite miserable. My current HIV Doctor said we will need to discuss a different class of HIV medication when I see her in June. I am actually willing to try anything because I am sick of this continued weight gain.

The doctors have all told me that I should start losing weight once I am back on a CPAP for my chronic sleep apnea. I have not been on a CPAP for over 5 years because I sit up in my recliner to sleep because my lungs fill up with fluid if I lay flat. I am having a sleep study in June so I can get a new CPAP. Once again I will do whatever it takes to start getting well again.

I know I would not have made it this far in my journey if I did not have the strength and courage that God has given me. I will continue to put all my faith and trust in God and I know He will continue to give me strength for this journey until He calls me home.

Once again if you want to learn more about how my journey living with HIV began you can click here, Love and Understanding.

If you are just finding out that you are HIV positive I want you to know that you will live as long as you take care of yourself and take your medication as prescribed. You are NOT alone in this journey. There are many HIV support groups on social media. I am personally available anytime you need to talk. You can find me on Facebook and Twitter.

May the peace of God fill your life today to let you know He cares about what you are going through.

Praise the Lord for 10 years living with HIV. I pray for many more years of health as I continue this journey living with HIV.

Forever in Christ Jesus service,

Rainbow Pastor David

🏳️‍🌈✝️🔻 The Link Between HIV and High Blood Pressure

"To the extent that practitioners of both HIV care and general internal medicine know there's an association between HIV and high blood pressure, the better we all are for it, the better our patients will be for it."

__________________________________________________________________

FRIDAY, May 18, 2018 (American Heart Association) -- People with HIV are more likely than people without the virus to have high blood pressure, in part because of treatments and repercussions of the condition itself, a new review of research shows.

Learning more about the underlying mechanisms of high blood pressure in people with HIV is critical in preventing one of the leading conditions that can cause premature cardiovascular disease in those adults, the researchers said. The implications are important in a population that has seen the rate of people dying from heart disease and stroke skyrocket over the last decade.
"I think that we really need to pay special attention to this population," said Dr. Sasha Fahme, the study's lead author and a global health research fellow at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. "Now that people [with HIV] are living longer, we are seeing the non-infectious consequences of HIV, and hypertension [high blood pressure] is one of them."
In the Weill Cornell Medicine-led research review, published May 18 in the American Heart Association journal Hypertension, Fahme and her colleagues included 24 medical articles published between 2005 and 2017 that looked at high blood pressure among adults with HIV and those who didn't have the virus. The study populations included the United States, Brazil, China, Italy, Tanzania and other countries.

The analysis centered on vascular inflammation, intestinal problems, high cholesterol, HIV-related kidney disease and other conditions present with HIV that appear to be strongly linked to high blood pressure.

Because their immune system is constantly active, people with HIV have chronic inflammation in their arteries, which may make them stiff and enlarged, said Fahme, whose research includes high blood pressure in HIV patients in Tanzania.

In addition, antiretroviral medications appear to trigger conditions that lead to inflammation. Yet people who have been able to suppress the virus to the point where doctors can't detect it also suffer from inflammation, Fahme said.

And chronic inflammation also may be linked to gut bacteria, the scientists said in their review.

Research has shown HIV attacks cells in the intestinal wall, creating holes in the lining that allow bacteria to get through it, Fahme and her colleagues said in their article. That possibly creates "a complex relationship between hypertension, the gut microbiome and immune activation."

A kidney condition linked to high blood pressure appears to be four times greater in people with HIV -- and also may be linked to chronic inflammation, according to the new study. People with HIV appear to have much higher rates of the condition characterized by high levels of a protein found in urine.

Studies also suggest HIV-related high cholesterol may lead to high blood pressure. In turn, the researchers in the new study say lipid disorders in people with HIV may be linked to low levels of hormones that regulate blood sugar and break down fat. The different kinds of cholesterol and other fats in the blood are called lipids.

Dr. Lance Okeke, an infectious disease doctor who treats HIV patients in Durham, N.C., said the new study is a comprehensive review and an important addition to the existing literature because it aims to understand why people with the virus have risk factors for heart disease and stroke.

The analysis suggests mechanisms in the immune system are strongly linked to high blood pressure, said Okeke, a researcher at Duke University School of Medicine, who was not involved in the new research. "I think that the theme that stood out was potentially using HIV as a platform, as a model to study hypertension overall."

The results are "hopeful because we actually do have relatively blunt but effective tools for [treating] chronic inflammation and immune activation," he said. Okeke was the lead author of a recent study that found the rate of new high blood pressure diagnoses in people with HIV increased between 1996 and 2013.

To successfully stave off heart disease and stroke in patients with HIV, Okeke's study said it was important for doctors to diagnose HIV early and to aggressively treat high blood pressure and other conditions that may lead to cardiovascular disease.

That's where primary care doctors and infectious disease specialists play a critical role, Okeke said.

"There can't be enough education about the fact that persons living with HIV are at higher risk for coronary disease," he said. "To the extent that practitioners of both HIV care and general internal medicine … know there's an association [between HIV and high blood pressure], the better we all are for it, the better our patients will be for it."
