David France’s nonfiction account of early AIDS activism envisioned as a “medical thriller.”
According to Variety, France will executive produce the miniseries, which will be based on the original nonfiction story.
“This medical thriller about the community that fought AIDS through its own form of grassroots advocacy and scientific research is the perfect fit for National Geographic,” Courteney Monroe, CEO of National Geographic Global Networks, said in Variety.
