I absolutely love this picture. It says so much for people who are living with HIV.

Here is a message from Jyoti Surve I found on Facebook.
It
is not very easy living as a person with HIV. We go through various ups
and downs. We have our fair share of depression depending on the
medications we are in. It also highly depend on the living condition as
well. We fight with inner demons though we look fit and fine from
outside. We need emotional support. We require you when we are not able
to fight alone. We need you to help us, love us, support
us to pull ourself through. Why abandon us, break the relationship or
destroy the marriage when you think you can't cope with us anymore? What
if something happens to you? What if you were sick or bedridden? Does
that mean we should leave you to your own mercy and selfishly lead the
life with a new-found healthy partner, finding happiness in them while
your better half struggle to cope with HIV?? Remembered why you married
in the first place.... remember the marriage vows "in sickness or in
health, till death do us part". Well yes, we have HIV, does that mean we
are only loved till the time it becomes too much for you?? Understand
the plight that person living with HIV go through, understand the faith
and trust that he/she had put on you, understand the effort he/she is
making hard to stay in the marriage, understand that when it is not
within thy control then we need you - know that we aren't asking for
sympathy, just understanding to walk beside us rather than making our
life even more difficult and painful.
